A dual English- and French-fluent-speaking senior geologist
Over 30 years of broad range of experience worldwide in the mining industry as a Senior Mine Geologist (Gécamines/DRC: Kamoto Underground mine), Senior Exploration Geologist (Anglo-American/South Africa), Senior Economic Geologist, Academia (Wits University, University of Venda, Visiting Professor), and in research institutions (Chief Research Geoscientist: Council for Geoscience). Member in good standing of appropriate professional institutions.
As Researcher: Participated in many international consignment research projects with other Universities and/or Research Institutions (US Geological Survey/US, Kigam/South Korea, BGS/England, BRGM/France, AIST/Japon, DTM/Germany) and have been involved in undertaking high level geoscientific investigations of international projects, mostly funded by the European Development Fund (Papua New Guinea, Gabon), or Countries (Haiti, Sudan) that included leading and supporting geological and metallogenic mapping as well as mineral resource assessment, predictive prospectivity mapping and ore genesis mainly at the regional scale.
